Menelusuri Spektrum Kesehatan Jiwa Positif di Kalangan Dewasa Awal

Abstrak

Paradigma kesehatan jiwa mengalami pergeseran dari berfokus pada penyakit/gangguan jiwa (model patogenik) menuju model kesehatan jiwa positif yang menekankan pada kesejahteraan dan fungsi optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengukur prevalensi status kesehatan jiwa flourishing, moderate, dan languishing; serta (2) menganalisis hubungan antara status kesehatan jiwa dan dimensi-dimensinya dengan faktor-faktor sosio-demografi pada sampel dewasa awal di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif potong lintang dengan convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring mencakup instrumen Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) versi Indonesia dan data sosio-demografi dengan partisipan 191 orang. Ditemukan 55,5% responden dalam kategori flourishing, 40,3% moderate, dan 4,2% languishing. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara tingkat pendidikan dengan status kesehatan jiwa (p<0,001). Secara signifikan laki-laki memiliki skor Social Wellbeing yang lebih tinggi; individu yang menikah menunjukkan skor total MHC-SF, Emotional Wellbeing dan Social Wellbeing yang lebih tinggi. Terdapat perbedaan skor Emotional Wellbeing yang signifikan pada  tingkat pendidikan. Temuan ini berimplikasi  pentingnya kebijakan kesehatan jiwa yang bersifat hulu dengan berfokus pada peningkatan akses dan kualitas pendidikan serta program/intervensi dukungan emosional untuk individu yang belum menikah dan intervensi untuk mengoptimalkan dimensi kesejahteraan sosial.
